These terms cover this website and nothing else. An engagement is dealt with in its own written agreement, and where the two ever differ, that agreement governs.

This website is published by SNJ Projects (ABN 76 525 983 656), trading as SNJ Legal, of Brisbane, QLD.
By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not, stop using it. There is nothing else you need to do.
What this business is
SNJ Legal is a business services company providing document systems and contracting operations. It is not a law practice, does not provide legal advice and does not act for you in any matter.
Nothing published on this site is advice of any kind. It is not tailored to your circumstances, it does not take account of anything specific to you, and it is not a substitute for engaging your own external adviser.
Where material here describes what a business could do about its documents, it describes a pattern. Whether it applies to you is a question this site cannot answer.
Using the site creates no engagement
Reading this site, sending the enquiry form, or emailing us does not create an engagement, a retainer or a relationship of any kind.
An engagement begins only when it is agreed in writing, against a written scope, with a fee. Until that has happened, nothing has started.
Until an engagement is agreed in writing, what you send is not treated as confidential. Please do not send anything sensitive, privileged or time-critical through the enquiry form.
Accuracy and currency
Written material here is prepared with care and is general. It describes how documents tend to behave, not how yours do.
Things change. A page that was accurate when published may not be when you read it, and posts carry the date they were published for exactly that reason.
No undertaking is given that the site will be available, uninterrupted or free of error. It is a website.
Fees shown on this site
Fees are published in Australian dollars, excluding GST. Where a figure is shown as "from", it is a starting point for the scope described beside it rather than the price of it.
It is not a quote and it is not an offer. A quote is issued in writing, against a written scope, before any work starts, and it is the quote that binds, not this site.
Every published figure says when it stops being a starting point. "Fixed after scoping" means the fee is settled at the scoping step and does not move after that; where a figure also says "per month", that is the same commitment for a recurring engagement. Fees can change, and the fee that applies to you is the one in your quote.
Content on this site
The written material, layout and design of this site belong to SNJ Projects, except where something is credited otherwise.
You are welcome to read it, print it, quote from it with attribution, and send it to people who would find it useful. That is what it is for.
You may not republish it as your own, sell it, or use it to train a model without permission. Systematic scraping of the site is not permitted.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to gain access to any part of this site you have not been given access to, interfere with its operation, or use it to send anything unlawful.
The enquiry form is for enquiries. Using it to send bulk or automated messages is not permitted, and is rate limited.
Links to other sites
Where this site links somewhere else, that is a pointer rather than an endorsement.
What is on the other end is not ours, not checked by us, and not our responsibility.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other right you have that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where a right cannot be excluded, it applies regardless of anything written here.
Subject to that, this site is provided as it is, and we are not liable for loss arising from your use of it or from anything you did or did not do on the basis of something published here.
Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to resupplying the relevant material or paying the cost of doing so.
This section is about the website. Liability under an engagement is dealt with in the agreement for that engagement.
Privacy
How information you send through this site is handled is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
These terms can change. The version that applies to you is the one published when you use the site, and each version carries the date it was updated.
Material changes are not applied retrospectively to an enquiry already sent.
If part of this does not hold
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, that part is severed and the rest continues to apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia, and the courts of Queensland have jurisdiction.
